Capital is a music radio station which is based for pop music and the music charts which is on every Sunday.Some of the artists which are played on Capital are One direction,Jessie J,Ariana Grande and Magic. Also they play the newest song and it is the first place to hear it. For example One Direction new song called Steal my girl was first played at 12pm today.The type of programmes which are played on Capital are contests to win tickets to go to a concert or a gig which is located in London. They are normally in the morning when everyone are going to work or school. By midday they tell you some news which is happening in showbise such as charts or maybe a film.It is able to make people to listen to them and the songs which they play. On a Friday evening the host is Marvin Humes who is one of the former members of JLS.He is a DJ and he remixes some of the songs to make them faster or slower. During the time he is on people are able to call up to the station are able to requests songs or talk to him. Marvin also does the Vodafone big top 40.Pandora Christie is the presenter on a Monday-Sunday morning who does all the competitions because she has a clear voice and everyone always listen to the radio in the morning while everyone goes to work while they are driving in the car. The audience is for teenagers and people who are in the early 30's and 40's because everyone likes pop music and they like to hear the charts and also their favourite artist on the radio which will make them happy and dance to in whatever place they are. On the other hand not all play pop music and all new songs which are in the charts at the moment. The genre of music which Heart plays are more olden music and ballads but sometimes they do play some new songs so it can attract more people to listen to their radio station in the morning and the evening while on the way to and from work.The type of programmes they show are some competitions and get people to call in but also they do the vodafone big top 40. Toby Anstis is the host for Monday-Saturday mornings to wake people up and also the people who are on the way to work so they have something to listen to. They play more ballads and artist like Mariah Carey and Elton John because more older people and parents will listen to this radio station as it songs which they have grown up with and they also like that type of music. Jason Donavan is also a host and he does all 80's singles on a Sunday night. The demographic is adults and people who are over 50 or 60 because they mainly would listen to this radio station compared to capital where it is more for teenagers and their pop music and it can attract different age ranges.
